*Spirituality *Shadow Work - Continual Reiki and Today’s Release

I have continued to see Kate for Reiki, usually weekly. While Kate practices Reiki on me she also gets messages from spirit and writes them down. She notes where on my body there are big releases of energy and what they relate to.

In the first few months of Reiki I was acutely aware of the energy releases. The best way to describe it is kind of like a solar flare. You can feel it explode from various parts of your body. There were many of these flares in the first few months, but I don’t feel as much now. Kate explained that is because the energy is moving more freely. Blockages have been released. These blockages are for many and varied reasons ie clearing energy related to unresolved traumas; family ancestral baggage that is handed to each generation unless it is cleared etc.

It has been quite some time since I felt one but today I was gifted with another. This release was more subtle. It came off my whole chest. It was not so much of an explosion but more of a glow that grew stronger and stronger. The glow came from my entire chest area and I felt it extended out about 40cm. It was intense. It lasted up to about 10 seconds before subsiding.

I let Kate know the experience after the session and she then brought out her notes. She had received guidance that I was releasing old patterns from many past lives and that the energy was all tied up in my chest. The pattern which I was changing was believing that I need to help and that I can fix people. Apparently Kate indicated this was a pattern for many lives. I was fixing and helping based on my belief system at the time ie I may have been a missionary who was murdered trying to help and fix from that perspective. I’ve apparently had many violent deaths. I get that, I have felt like hurtling a bible or two at preaching suit wearing religious types in my time, when their foot was positioned in a door to avoid closure. I can only imagine what missionaries encountered in their do good crusades. History does say that some missionary dude was even eaten in Samoa for his efforts. Maybe I was the main course at a Samoan BBQ.

Historically, in this life I continued the old pattern. The “people need my help” pattern. I have drawn the relevant people to me in this life, with my energy. I then go about the process of helping and fixing. The others may have an energy of needing to be helped or fixed… an energy of not being able to do it themselves. The two energies match. The fixer and fixee. I guess you could say “a match made in Heaven”.

This life was different though. In this life I was destined to wake up. I was destined to understand that everything is perfect and there is no person who needs me. No one needs fixing. Everyone has their own internal guidance system and connection to spirit. Everyone has experiences that they are destined to have, for the purpose of their growth. We have opportunity in this life to learn and grow from these experiences or we get to do it all again. Same lesson, different life. So I guess you could say, after potentially being murdered, maimed and eaten in past lives I eventually got it and changed my modus operandi.

I am still helpful and giving but in a much more subtle way.

My lungs had been feeling very week in the last month and I was quite concerned about an upcoming lung function test. It will be interesting to see the outcome.
